LINES WE CARRY follows three girls on three life paths with scoliosis. As their bodies fall out of balance during the most vulnerable phase of adolescence, decisions between bracing, surgery, and discipline mark their journey of growing up – a diagnosis that accompanies them throughout their lives. A coming-of-age documentary about curvature, rising, and the journey toward self-discovery in a world shaped by body ideals and the pressures of self-image.
